In January 2023 there were 91 patients, with hallucination nursing
problems totaling 74 people (81.3%) in the Kuantan Room. The aim of this research
is to describe psychiatric nursing care for clients with auditory hallucination
problems at the Tampan Hospital in Riau Province. This research was conducted
specifically in the Kuantan Room with two research subjects, namely Mr. R and Mr.
I. Nursing care was carried out from 5 to 11 April 2023. This study used interview
and observation techniques. The results showed that there was a change in the
symptoms of hallucinations in the research subjects, subject I Mr. R symptoms have
not appeared so that it has been allowed to be outpatient, subject II Tn. I still likes to
be lazy so he still needs treatment, the two research subjects know about the type,
content, duration, frequency, duration and trigger factors of hallucinations, and are
able to independently control hallucinations using SP 1-4 hallucinations. The
researcher hopes that further research regarding Mental Nursing Care in Patients
with Auditory Hallucinations Nursing Problems can be further developed
Nabila Raswandari Usraleli Usraleli ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2024-03-29 2024-03-29 3 1 Application of Buteyko Breathing Exercise Technique to Stabilize Respiratory Rate in Bronchial Asthma Patients https://jurnal.pkr.ac.id/index.php/JONAH/article/view/907
One of the diseases that can cause obstructions in the respiratory tract is Bronchial
Asthma. Asthma makes the airways in the lungs narrow due to inflammation and
tightening of the muscles around the airways. Inflammation can cause cells in the
respiratory tract to produce a lot of secret, as a result air flow can be obstructed in
the respiratory tract which causes shortness of breath making it difficult to breathe.
When asthmatics feel shortness of breath, there will be an increase in respiratory
frequency and a decrease in oxygen saturation. Non-pharmacological therapy
methods in the form of breathing techniques can be performed on asthma patients,
one of which is the Buteyko Breathing Exercise technique. Buteyko Breathing
Exercise technique combines nasal breathing, diaphragm and pause control. The
purpose of this study was to determine the stability of Respiratory Rate in patients
with Bronchial Asthma after applying Buteyko Breathing Exercise Technique. This
research is a descriptive case study with 2 research subjects and was conducted in
May 2023. This study uses interview, observation and physical examination
techniques in data collection with previously prepared instruments. Data is
presented in the form of narratives and tables. The results show that there is a
change in Respiratory Rate to be stable in both subjects, with the mode value of
Respiratory Rate in the first subject is 18 x/min and the second subject is 20 x/min.
Rafifah Salsabila Lubis Wiwiek Delvira Erni Forwaty ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2024-03-29 2024-03-29 3 1 Application Of Brain Gym Therapy To Improve Cognitive Function In Elderly With Dementia Problems https://jurnal.pkr.ac.id/index.php/JONAH/article/view/908
Dementia is a term used for a variety of diseases that cause permanent changes in the brain, characterized by cognitive impairment that affects memory. Brain gym therapy is a series of simple movements that can combine all parts of the brain to improve cognitive abilities. The purpose of this case study is to describe the application of brain gym therapy to improve cognitive function in elderly people with dementia. The research method used was descriptive with a case study approach using 2 subjects, carried out on April 10 - April 16, 2023. The subjects in this study were dementia patients with the criteria for a definite cognitive impairment score. The results of this case study showed an increase in cognitive function in subject I initial cognitive function 13 points to 15 points (definite cognitive impairment). In subject II initial cognitive function 14 points to 16 points (definite cognitive impairment). Regular brain gym therapy can improve cognitive function, because the way brain gym therapy works optimizes oxygen supply and blood flow to the brain, thereby providing adequate stimulation to brain structures. To maintain and improve cognitive function in both subjects, PSTW officers can guide and facilitate brain gym therapy.
Suci Rahmayati Sakhnan Sakhnan Ibnu Rusdi Erni Forwaty Husnan Husnan ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2024-03-29 2024-03-29 3 1
